@oway_ireland Over two years ago, on a beach along the Emilian coast, a hand cream container from the late 1960s made its appearance among the WASTE DISPOSED during a winter sea storm. That relic, together with other bottles from fifty years ago related to disposable plastic, were preserved and enhanced in an EXHIBITION with the aim of raising awareness of the problem of plastic in the sea. The exhibition was the result of a collaboration between OWAY and ARCHEOPLASTICA, born from the desire to create an immersive experience with the stories of ancient waste from the sea, with the aim of INSPIRING visitors to reverse the trend. The use of single-use plastic is a paradox that is now UNSUSTAINABLE.
